The US, the Exiled Cuban Plantocracy, and Race

After the Mariel boatlift in 1980, US officials realized that Cuba had a population that was largely non white and they launched many efforts to grow a grass roots movement based on this fact. After all, astroturfing (the creation of fake grass roots movements) has long been a major tool in the US elites' kit. The US, with the help of the Cuban exiled plantocracy, has generated a relentless propaganda machine that regularly attacks Cuba on issues of race but naturally never talks about the severe racial problems in Miami or South Florida, where so many African Americans are killed every year by the police, many of whose officers are Cuban Americans. The Cuban Americans moved into Miami on a massive scale after 1959 and pushed aside the then thriving African American community, whose jobs and neighborhoods were taken over by the federally financed immigrants while Blacks were relegated to the ghettos of Overtown, Little Haiti, Liberty City, and Opa-Locka, among others.

Marco Rubio's ties to narcotics cartels unleashes death for afrodescendant and indigenous communities across Colombia, Central America, and Mexico.
