Margaret Ross MartinMargaret Ross Martin was an African American journalist who lived with her husband for a time in Havana. She wrote the essay The Negro in Cuba in 1931 and an obituary of the renowned AfroCuban leader Juan Gualberto Gomez. She also corresponded with WEB Dubois, who had an interest in connecting Blacks in Cuba with Blacks elsewhere in the Caribbean and in the US. |
