2016 AFRO-CUBAN ARTISTS: A RENAISSANCE
[April 27-30, 2016], an international conference at the University of Missouri organized by Juanamaria Cordones-Cook and a 55 member committee of professors, students and community leaders. It attracted 3 of the leading Cuban artists and their work, Eduardo Roca Salazar "Choco", Manuel Mendive and Santiago Rodriguez Olazabal. It attracted scholars from all over the world. A special issue of AFRO-HISPANIC REVIEW will be dedicated to the lectures delivered at this event. |
