Reynaldo "Rey" Gonzalez FernandezRey is an experienced professor of folkloric voice, dance, and percussion. He danced and sang with Afro-Cuba de Matanzas for 14 years and is fluent in English. Rey has just moved to Boston, Massachusetts and is persuing his career there, giving workshops and classes and planning performances that are destined to invigorate the Boston scene.

dance workshop by Rey Gonzalez in New YorkReynaldo "Rey" Gonzalez of AfroCuba de Matanzas is an accomplished dancer in Lucumi, Arara, rumba and other Afro-Cuban Folkloric dances. The classes will be in two session in July and August .The July dates are 11, 12, 18, 19 at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The August dates are 1,2,8,9, and 15th at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The pre-registration fees for July and August are $20 and $25, respectively. With pre-registration the classes are $10.00 each. Without pre-registration the classes are $17.00.
The classes will be given at Boys Harbor , 1 East 104th Street, 6th floor. People may register in person for the July session in person on July 5 or July 11 at 5:00 p.m. I would appreciate it if you could pass this on to your members .If people want additional information, they can e-mail me at agtypograp@aol.com and include the workshop in the subject matter of their message or they can contact Rey at his website which is linked to yours.
