Meeting of the International Scientific Committee of Volume IX of the General History of Africa  1/23/2017 UNESCO: "The International Scientific Committee of Volume IX of the General History of Africa will hold its fifth meeting, organized by UNESCO, in Havana, Cuba, from 23 to 28 January 2017. The main objective of the meeting is to assess the progress of the work, review and validate the latest papers submitted by the authors and discuss the modalities for finalizing the volume by the end of 2017."

Anuncian reunión de la Unesco en La Habana  1/13/2017 PL: "El objetivo de ese encuentro, que por primera vez se realiza en esa institución cubana, es actualizar la historia general de África, y en ello trabajan científicos de todos los continentes, convocados por la sección de Historia y Memoria para el Diálogo de la Unesco."
