1987. http://www.afrojazz.com/hosting/adhesif adhesif@micronet.fr Following a texte to release: Carneval - Dance - Percussion in Santiago de Cuba Everything concerning music, dance and percussion workshops, we can warmly consider the best adress in Santiago de Cuba in the original Carneval and Conga area San Pedrito: La Familia Maseda. They are all concerned: Raul Maseda, the father, works at the cuban TV and is a specialist on cuban carneval origins. The sons are percussionists and religious santeria priests. They are on the street playing. You just have to go to San Pedrito, ask for the Foco Cultural de San Pedrito. You can see the old original Bacardi fabrication from there. Go in July, there's the invasion de la conga, carneval happenings and the carribean festival!
