"Our hopes and dreams are to bring into the entertainment industry a new kind of Dance Company; to push the limits of controversy, sensuality, and rhythmical dance. We have formed a group that has some of the most highly talented, trained, and respected female dancers in the world!

Yemaya was formed on June 1, 2001 by Director and Choreographer Dedelle (Dede) Barbanti. In November 2001, Olivia Dasso joined our team as the Assistant Director. Within our union, each Dancer has the freedom to create and express artistic visions. We want to share with the world what lies within the depths of our hearts and imagination; and with each performance take you on a journey…
