Tambó runs workshops in Cuba.  From their web site: "Drawing from some of the best that Cuba has to offer, we bring to you drummers and dancers from the well known companies of Los Munequitos de Matanzas and Grupo AfroCuba from Matanzas, and Havana's Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba. We will spend most of our time residing in the city of Matanzas, where music is deeply rooted in the Afrocuban tradition, as Matanzas City was settled by slaves of Yoruba, Calabar and Congo descent over a century ago. The city, located just two hours east of Havana, is situated on the stunning Bay of Matanzas and maintains all of Cuba's warmth and charm. The languid pace and the personal, individual attention of these master drummers and dancers give workshop participants a unique opportunity to experience the Afrocuban culture first hand. "
