| KIBA KREYOL '02 Primer Aviso "Festival Kreyol Kiba 2002 - International Festival" 12-14 de Octubre de 2002, Ciudad de La Habana El rescate y conservacion de la cultura de nuestro pueblo caribeno, forma parte del objetivo del Bannzil Kreyol Kiba, una institucion fundada en agosto de 1997 y que esta integrada por cubanos, haitianos, descendientes de haitianos y estudiantes de paises de habla kreyol. El Banzil Kreyol Ciba abre sus puertas a todas las personas e instituciones del mundo que deseen colaborar con este noble idea de conservar en Cuba esta bella cultura que con mucho amor nos llegaron nuestros ancestros. CONVOCATORIA El proyecto cultural Bannzil Kreyol Kiba y la Casa de la Cultura del Cotorro convocan al Festival Kreyol Kiba 2002 que tendra lugar los dias 12, 13 y 14 de octubre de 2002 en el Teatro Bertold Brecht y en la Casa de la Cultura del Cotorro en la Ciudad de La Habana, Cuba. BASES DEL FESTIVAL En este se presentaran: * Ponencias y Mesa Redonda sobre la influencia del Kreyol en la cultura cubana, caribena y latinoamericana * Presentacion del Literatura en Kreyol * Comidas y bebidas tipicas de paises crelogonos * Presentacion cultural de grupos musicales, teatrales, danzarios, solistas y otros * Carnaval kreyol * Visita a lugares historicos, turisticos y culturales En el mes de junio vamos enviar el programa pormenorizado para los 3 dias del Festival. CUOTA DE INSCRIPCION Cada participante abonara $25 USD para la credencial de la acreditacion y una carpeta de informacion. El hospedaje con desayuna, almuerzo, comida y transporte costara $20 USD por dia para 4 dias en el Acampamento Internacional "Julio Antonio Mella" en Caimito, Provincia Habana. "FIRST KIBA KREYOL FESTIVAL '02" First Notification "Festival Kreyol Kiba 2002 - International Festival" 12-14 October 2002, Havana The recovery and conservation of the culture of our Caribbean people forms a part of the objectives of Bannzil Kreyol Kiba, an institution which was founded in August 1997 and which has a membership of Cubans, Haitians, descendants of Haitians and students from countries that speak creole. Banzil Kreyol Ciba opens its door to all persons and institutions throughout the world who wish to collaborate in furthering this noble idea of the conservation in Cuba of this beautiful culture, which with great love our ancestors brought to this country. INVITATION The cultural project known as Bannzil Kreyol Kiba the the House of Culture ("Casa de la Cultura" in Cotorro invite you to the Festival Kreyol Kiba 2002, which will take place from 12-14 Octuber 2002 in the Bertold Brecht Theatre and the House of Casa de la Culture in Cotorro, both located in the city of Havana, Cuba. ACTIVITIES OF THE FESTIVAL During the Festival, the following activities will take place: * Seminars and round tables about the influence of Creole in Cuban, Caribbean and Latin American culture * Presentation of Creole Literature * Trypical food and drink from creole-speaking countries * Cultural presentations by musical groups, theatre groups, dance groups, soloists and others * Creole Carnival * Tour of historic, touristic and cultural sites During the month of June, we will send out a detailed program for the three days of the Festival. REGISTRATION FEE Each participant will pay $25 USD for an accreditation credential and information packet. Accomodation will include breakfast, lunch, dinner and transport and will cost $20 USD per day for four days in the "Julio Antonio Mella" International Camp in Caimito, Havana Province.
