AyanAgalu, a Yoruba bata ensemble from Erin Osun, Nigeria, will perform at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Sunday October 3, 2004 to open the exhibit "African Art, African Voices: Long Steps Never Broke a Back" (www.philamuseum.org/education/specialfamily.shtml). They are also visiting Vassar College October 5-6. AyanAgalu is led by Lamidi Ayankunle, one of Nigeria's best known batalleros.
