Hurricane Sandy relief - Nelson Da Costa and the Anton Makarenko School, Pinar del Rio, CubaNelson Da Costa is an Angolan Artist and war refuge who lived and
studied in Cuba for 18 years. Part of that time was spent at the Anton
Makarenko School, a special needs shool which was recently devastated by
Hurricane Sandy. He emigrated to the United State in 2002 and received a
Master of Fine Arts in 2008 at Tufts University and the at School of the
Museum of Fine Arts. He lives and works in Boston Massachusetts. Wed. Mar. 20th 6 to 8 PM, |
