Albita

Plays Son and Guajira, uniting the Congo's Bantu and Native Cubans, whose culture permeated the countryside until late into the 18th century and even on to today in many places.

Albita Rodriguez emigrated to the US in 1993, and is a favorite of Gloria Estefan, also known for her cultural borrowings.
