Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen with her Congressional

Ileana Ros-Lehtinen
(R - Florida, 18th congressional district)
Ros Lehtinen was born in Cuba in 1952 and came to Miami in
the 60's. Raised a Catholic, her grandfather was a leader of the Jewish
community in Havana who stayed on after the Revolution. She joined
the most intransigent hard right in Miami, the remnants of Cuba's
Plantocracy formed by former slave owning sugar and rum interests.
According to the LA
Times: "In February 1988, Orlando Bosch was arrested in Miami and
implicated in the 1976 plot to blow up Cubana Flight 455, a terrorist act
that killed 73 passengers. Joe D. Whitley, the associate U.S. attorney
general at the time, called Bosch "a terrorist, unfettered by laws or
human decency, threatening and inflicting violence without regard to the
identity of his victims." Bosch, however, had the distinct advantage
of having Ros-Lehtinen make advocating for his release one of the
cornerstones of her 1989 congressional campaign. Bosch had another
advantage: Ros-Lehtinen's campaign manager was Jeb Bush, President George
H.W. Bush's son. In 1990, after lobbying by Jeb Bush and Ros-Lehtinen, the
Bush administration went against the Justice Department's recommendation
to deport Bosch and authorized his release. Since then, Bosch has become a
permanent resident of the United States."
Ros and her Plantocracy colleagues have repeatedly
intervened not only in the case of Bosch, but also that of Luis
Posada Carriles, another prime mover behind the 1976 Cubana bombing
and a serial terrorist and narcotics trafficker.
Ros Lehtinen is a strong
supporter of Israel's right wing and also a supporter of anti-Iran terrorists,
she is one of the strongest supporters in Congress of the MKO, the
Mujahedin e-Khalq Organization.
MKO, also known as MEK, was on the State Department list of terrorists for
many years after murdering several US Air Force officers, until they spread their mysteriously abundant cash around liberally to US
politicians across the politcal spectrum and secured a delisting from
Congress.
Ros Lehtinen is swimming in the same waters as Jeb Bush
and other corrupt officials, she has no problems defending people who have
been convicted of millions of dollars' worth of embezzlement:

As a significant player in plantocracy politics, Ros-Lehtinen does her
best to promote AfroCuban civil rights in order to pit them against the
Cuban government:

This touches on the whole debacle of the Afro-Cuban
Research Institute, which Ileana Ros Lehtinen supported and promoted.
This institute has disappeared almost without a trace, and so AfroCubaWeb is the primary source of information on yet another bizarre effort of the
plantocracy to promote its victims
Ros Lehtinen funds Victoria Ruiz-Labrit, the US representative for the Citizens Committee for Racial Integration,
a Havana based dissident group that was promoted in the Briefing that
accompanied the Acting on Our Conscience letter signed by 59 prominent
African Americans, who perhaps did not look at the package they were
signing on to, though its provenance via Carlos Moore should have given
them a clue.
And, as is sometime the case with Ileana, she is especially hypocritical
with her core issues, so you will have a hard time finding an
afrodescendiente among her staff or her interns...
The significance of Ros-Lehtinen's action to free Orlando Bosch and Luis
Posada Carriles cannot be
exaggerated. They are mass murderers, narcoterrorists who acted in the
service of the
Plantocracy remnants -- the CANF, the Bacardis, the Fanjuls, the Lincoln-Balarts. For Vicky Ruiz to have taken money from her is
a sign for everyone to see.

Ros-Lehtinen, the Bush administration went against the Justice Department's
recommendation to deport Bosch and authorized his release. Since then, Bosch has

death watch in Miami. President George W. and Florida Governor Jeb Bush, two
brothers who owe their offices to the power of the right-wing Cuban-American
community in south Florida, engaged in a macabre and sinister death watch for
Cuban President Fidel Castro while being hosted by wealthy Cuban-American
supporters. As Castro was rushed to the hospital suffering from internal
bleeding, just two weeks after visiting, along with Venezuela's President Hugo
Chavez, the boyhood home of Che Guevara in Alta Gracia, Argentina, the Bush
brothers began planning action against the Cuban government and the two Castro

Codina sponsored the fundraiser at his Coral Gables home. Until 1994, the firm
was known as the Codina-Bush Group. Codina and Jeb Bush made a fortune in
developing southern Florida real estate properties. He invested $1000 in 1984 in
a Miami office tower project and cashed out his shares in 1990 for a hefty
$346,000. Before he left Codina in 1993, Jeb earned huge commissions for the
sale of real estate to Japanese investors. Jeb also sold water pumps to Nigeria
in a questionable deal involving Nigeria's military junta, M&W Pump, and another
Bush company, Bush-El. These deals occurred at the same time that Jeb Bush was
enmeshed in the savings and loan scandal involving Florida-based financial
institutions. As reported by WMR last November, the politically-powerful St. Joe
Company has a significant investment in the Codina Group. After Jeb Bush became
governor, he took care of his real estate business friends, selling them
state-owned land at cut rate prices. Joining the Bush brothers in Coral Gables
were the Florida Cuban-American GOP congressional team of Representative Ileana
Ros-Lehtinen, who best represents the fact that America's foreign policies on
the Middle East and Latin America have been outsourced to two vocal and

Ros Lehtinen favors MEK] - "There were also rumors in some Iranian news media,
as well as some foreign news sources, that the US designated terrorist
organization Mujahedeen Khalq-e Iran or MEK [MKO, National Council of
Resistance, and various other names used by the organization] was also behind
the assassinations. For example, Iranian Students News Agency stated on December
1, 2010, that the “monafeghin,” a code name for MEK, had admitted that they had
“played a role” in the attack. In this report they referred to some MEK
