New
evidence challenges official picture of Kennedy shooting 2/22/2008 Guardian: "Little
about the official explanation of the events at the Ambassador Hotel on June 5
1968 makes sense. Now a new forensic analysis of the only audio recording of the
fatal shots has given new weight to a controversial theory that there were in
fact two shooters, and that the man convicted of Kennedy's killing — Sirhan
Sirhan - did not fire the fatal shots."

County DA's office finds cache of JFK memorabilia 2/17/2008 Dallas
Morning News: "Mr. Watkins, Ms. Moore and several investigators from
the DA's office found the boxes of materials about a year ago because they had
heard that the gun used to kill Oswald was somewhere in the courthouse. They
didn't find the gun, which Mr. Mack said is privately owned, but instead found
the records and other items. For the past year, they've been trying to determine
what they discovered and began scanning some of the documents. The process is
not complete. The boxes probably sat in the safe since being moved when the
courthouse opened in 1989. Mr. Watkins said he plans to donate the files to an
entity that will authenticate and preserve them, as well as make them available
to the public. It's interesting, and it's not ours," Mr. Watkins said.
"It's the public's." No one has yet thoroughly read all of the
documents, so it's not known whether they contain information previously unknown
to the public or the Warren Commission." [TV coverage shows numerous boxes]
Former
President Ford Admits CIA Compromised the Warren Commission's Probe of JFK
Assassination 1/9/2008 Crime Magazine: "In his
final public words, former President Gerald R. Ford said the CIA destroyed or
kept from investigators critical secrets connected to the 1963 assassination of
President John F. Kennedy. The stunning admission by Ford—a member of the
Warren Commission that investigated the JFK assassination—is contained in the
foreword to a new edition of the commission's report, A Presidential Legacy and
The Warren Commission. Ford died in late 2006 at the age of 93. In the new book,
Ford said the commission's probe put "certain classified and potentially
damaging operations in danger of being exposed." The CIA's reaction, he
added, "was to hide or destroy some information, which can easily be
misinterpreted as collusion in JFK's assassination."
CIA
Loses Case at DC Circuit 12/8/2007 JFK Lancer: "The
CIA had previously won summary judgment on a case where requester Jefferson
Morley sought records on George Joannides, a deceased CIA agent. The Circuit
Court however found that the CIA's search wasn't adequate as it hadn't search
usually FOIA exempt operational files because in this case there was an
exception that made these files non-exempt from the FOIA in their entirety. The
Court remanded the case back to the lower court for the CIA to search its
operational files. Further, the CIA was ordered to search JFK act files that it
had transferred to NARA, but had admitted to keeping copies of as well as to
sent to NARA but that aren't to be released to the public until 2017. Finally,
the Court found the CIA's description of its search inadequate and remanded the
case for a further explanation of the search."
The George
Joannides Coverup by Jefferson Morley 12/8/2007 JFK Lancer: Published
5/19/05 - "People interested in the JFK story will be interested to know
that the CIA is due to file papers in court tomorrorow, May 20, to block release
of certain JFK assassination-related documents. The records in question concern
a deceased CIA officer named George Joannides. At the time of Kennedy's death,
Joannides was the Chief of Psychological Warfare branch of the Agency's JM/WAVE
station in Miami. Among his primary responsibilities were guiding, monitoring
and financing the Revolutionary Cuban Student Directorate or DRE, one of the
largest and most effective anti-Castro groups in the United States. CIA records
show, and the group's former leaders confirm, that Joannides provided them with
up $18-25,000 per month while insisting they submit to CIA discipline. Joannides,
in his job evaluation of 31 July 1963, was credited with having established
control over the group."

collegial way that the story of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy
was a journalistic "black hole," and so it is. The JFK story is
literally a dark core of cultural energy that can swallow your time and sanity.
At the same time, the black hole of Kennedy's assassination exercises a
gravitational pull on the American imagination that cannot be ignored."

JFK,
9/11 and War 8/18/2007 911Truth.org: by Peter Dale
Scott - "In American history there are two types of event: ordinary events
which the information systems of the country can understand and establish. There
are also deep events, or meta-events, which the mainstream information systems
of the country cannot digest. I mean by a “deep event” an event in which it
is clear from the outset that there are aspects which will not be dealt with in
the mainstream media, and will be studied only by those so-called “conspiracy
theorists” who specialize in deep history. The events I shall discuss today
exhibit continuities with each other and with other deep events, notably the
Iran-Contra affair of the mid 1980s and the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995. But
the three I shall discuss today – the JFK assassination, the initial Watergate
break-ins, and 9/11 – are outstanding in this respect: that while they were
attributed to insignificant and very marginal people, they had momentous impact,
far more than most daily events by more important people, in redirecting
American history. 1 If history is what is recorded, then deep history is the sum
of events which tend to be officially obscured or even suppressed in traditional
books and media. Important recent deep events include the political
assassinations of the 1960s, Watergate, Iran-Contra, and now 9/11. All these
deep events have involved what I call the deep state, that part of the state
which is not publicly accountable, and pursues its goals by means which will not
be approved by a public examination. The CIA (with its on-going relationships to
drug-traffickers) is an obvious aspect of the deep state, but not the only one,
perhaps not even the dirtiest."

Sirius: "An explosive new book by David Talbot, Brothers: The Hidden
History of the Kennedy Years, examines the hostility that existed between the
Kennedy brothers and their own military, intelligence and enforcement agencies
during the JFK administration in the early 1960s. The book also reveals that
Robert Kennedy, who was Attorney General during his brother's presidency,
believed that JFK was killed by an insider conspiracy of powerful players who
didn't like some of the president's actions." [interview with author

Scientists Cast
Doubt on Kennedy Bullet Analysis 5/17/2007 WaPo: "Tobin,
Spiegelman and James said they bought the same brand and lot of bullets used by
Oswald and analyzed their lead using the new standards. The bullets from that
batch are still on the market as collectors' items. They found that the
scientific and statistical assumptions Guinn used — and the government
accepted at the time — to conclude that the fragments came from just two
bullets fired from Oswald's gun were wrong. "This finding means that the
bullet fragments from the assassination that match could have come from three or
more separate bullets," the researchers said. "If the assassination
fragments are derived from three or more separate bullets, then a second
assassin is likely," the researchers said. If the five fragments came from
three or more bullets, that would mean a second gunman's bullet would have had
to strike the president, the researchers explained."
Farewell
America by James Hepburn 5/11/2007 jfk-online.com: "A
combination of these powerful interests called "The Committee"
coordinated all aspects of the murder, from setting the time and place of the
shooting to the recruitment of the gunmen and the cover-up of the conspiracy
afterward. The bottom line was that enemies of JFK collaborated with the CIA to
erase the perceived threat to their interests by John and Robert Kennedy. Heady
stuff for 1968. So incendiary, in fact, that importation of the book through
Canada was squelched, allegedly at the instigation of the FBI. Farewell America
wasn't just another book about the assassination conspiracy; it was full of
restricted information about U.S. intelligence agencies, the White House, global
business, and military and political affairs that had to have come from a
knowledgeable source, in this case, French intelligence. It also represented the
surreptitious intrusion by those in French government circles into American
politics, namely, the 1968 presidential elections. Farewell America is well
documented with footnotes and appendices, and supported by an exceptional
Introduction by noted investigative author and best selling author William
Turner, an ex-FBI Special Agent. Herve Lamarre, the publisher of the original
edition of Farewell America, admitted that the author of record, James Hepburn,
was fictitious and that the true sources included Andre Ducret of the Surete;
Interpol; and, among others in French intelligence, Philippe Vasjoly, the chief
French petroleum agent in the United States. William Turner is an authority on
the Kennedy assassinations, the FBI and the CIA, and is the author of nine books
(translated into six languages), including his recent best selling memoirs,
Rearview Mirror: Looking Back at the FBI, the CIA and Other Tails (Penmarin,
2001). From Chapter 13: "President Kennedy's assassination was the work of
magicians. It was a stage trick, complete with accessories and false mirrors,
and when the curtain fell the actors, and even the scenery, disappeared."

After
40 Years, the First National Security Whistleblower Still Seeks Justice 11/30/2006 Common
Dreams: published 2/17/06 - "After an outstanding career in law
enforcement, Abraham Bolden was appointed by John F. Kennedy to be the first
African American presidential Secret Service agent, where he served with
distinction. But you haven't heard about Abraham Bolden during Black History
month, because after helping to prevent JFK's assassination in the weeks before
Dallas, Bolden was arrested on the very day he went to Washington to tell the
Warren Commission about those attempts. Caught in a maze of National Security
concerns that only became clear after four million pages of JFK files were
released in the 1990s, Bolden was sentenced to six years in prison, becoming
America's first National Security Whistleblower. The files released after
Congress passed the JFK Act unanimously in 1992 show the massive amount of
information that had been withheld from at least five Congressional
investigations. Even worse, the Final Report of the JFK Board created by
Congress shows that crucial files about attempts against JFK--the cases Bolden
worked on--were destroyed by the Secret Service in 1995. And, a report by the
government oversight group OMB Watch says that "well over one million CIA
records" related to JFK's era remain unreleased, perhaps until the
mandatory release date of 2017... Unknown to Bolden until recently, the crux of
all this secrecy about the attempts to assassinate JFK in Chicago, Tampa, and
Dallas were John and Robert Kennedys' "Plan for a Coup in Cuba" to
overthrow Fidel Castro on December 1, 1963. The most secret operation of the
Kennedy years, the CIA side of the operation was code-named AMWORLD, a term
withheld from five Congressional investigations (and the Warren Commission) and
declassified only in the 1990s. It appeared in print for the first time just
three months ago. Using declassified files from the National Archives, we found
that in the days, weeks, and months before Dallas, Robert Kennedy had a secret
government committee looking at how the US could deal with the
"assassination of American officials" if Castro found out about the
Kennedys' coup plan, and tried to retaliate."

RFK assassination 11/22/2006 Global Research: "O’Sullivan
found video images of Campbell with another figure who has now been identified
as George Joannides, a pivotal figure in the CIA and the re-investigation of the
assassination of JFK. Joannides had been the Chief of Psychological Warfare
Operations at JM-Wave. He had retired from his CIA post, but in 1978 he returned
to active duty, as it were, as the liaison between the House Select Committee on
Assassinations (HSCA) during its re-investigation of the assassinations of JFK
and Martin Luther King. Puzzling, perplexing and problematic, Joannides failed
to inform his colleagues at the HSCA that he had ever worked at JM-Wave. This is
a troubling enigma for it suggests that he intended to maintain his covert
identity – a fact that would compromise his involvement in the HSCA and
jeopardize the entire congressional investigation. A former researcher with the
HSCA, Ed Lopez, identified Joannides as the person in the Ambassador Hotel video
with what he described on camera as 99% accuracy. More. Lopez recalled Joannides
obstructive practice of denying the HSCA access to crucial documents in the
re-investigation of the assassination of JFK."

Did
the CIA kill Bobby Kennedy? 11/20/2006 Guardian: "Morales
was a legendary figure in CIA covert operations. According to close associate
Tom Clines, if you saw Morales walking down the street in a Latin American
capital, you knew a coup was about to happen. When the subject of the Kennedys
came up in a late-night session with friends in 1973, Morales launched into a
tirade that finished: "I was in Dallas when we got the son of a bitch and I
was in Los Angeles when we got the little bastard." From this line grew my
odyssey into the spook world of the 60s and the secrets behind the death of
Bobby Kennedy. Working from a Cuban photograph of Morales from 1959, I viewed
news coverage of the assassination to see if I could spot the man the Cubans
called El Gordo - The Fat One. Fifteen minutes in, there he was, standing at the
back of the ballroom, in the moments between the end of Kennedy's speech and the
shooting. Thirty minutes later, there he was again, casually floating around the
darkened ballroom while an associate with a pencil moustache took notes. The
source of early research on Morales was Bradley Ayers, a retired US army captain
who had been seconded to JM-Wave, the CIA's Miami base in 1963, to work closely
with chief of operations Morales on training Cuban exiles to run sabotage raids
on Castro. I tracked Ayers down to a small town in Wisconsin and emailed him
stills of Morales and another guy I found suspicious - a man who is pictured
entering the ballroom from the direction of the pantry moments after the
shooting, clutching a small container to his body, and being waved towards an
exit by a Latin associate. Ayers' response was instant. He was 95% sure that the
first figure was Morales and equally sure that the other man was Gordon
Campbell, who worked alongside Morales at JM-Wave in 1963 and was Ayers' case
officer shortly before the JFK assassination."

Biggest Secret Revealed -- But Will Congress Keep History from Repeating Itself? 10/19/2006 Common
Dreams: "The JFK-Almeida coup failed because it was infiltrated by
three Mafia bosses targeted for prosecution by Attorney General Robert Kennedy
(who played the leading role in managing the coup plan for his brother). The
Mafia chiefs -- banned by the Kennedys from the coup plan, and from reopening
their casinos in Cuba -- infiltrated the CIA's portion of the coup plan, and
used parts of it to kill JFK in Dallas. This forced key US officials -- RFK, LBJ,
and J. Edgar Hoover -- into a cover-up to protect Almeida and prevent a possible
nuclear confrontation with the Soviets, a cover-up which continued for
decades." [LBJ used this to pressure Warren into the "lone

it has received little media attention. Before her death on June 22 2002,

lengthy discussion the truth about exactly who was behind the assassination of
JFK was exposed."
Rethinking
Chomsky 4/18/2006 NY Transfer News Collective: "Rethinking
Camelot (Boston: South End Press, 1993) is Noam Chomsky's worst book. I don't
think it merits a detailed review, but we should be clear about the stand that
"America's leading intellectual dissident," as he is often called, has
taken on the assassination. It is not significantly different from that of the
Warren Commission or the majority of Establishment journalists and government
apologists, and diametrically opposed to the view "widely held in the
grassroots movements and among left intellectuals" (p. 37) and in fact to
the view of the majority of the population. For Chomsky, the only theories of
the assassination "of any general interest are those that assume a massive
cover-up, and a high-level conspiracy that required that operation." These
he rejects out of hand because "There is not a phrase in the voluminous
internal record hinting at any thought of such a notion," and because the
cover-up "would have to involve not only much of the government and the
media, but a good part of the historical, scientific, and medical professions.
An achievement so immense would be utterly without precedent or even remote
analogue.""

The
Assassination of Robert Kennedy - USA, 1992 2/19/2006 RICENPEAS
FILMS: "The Assassination of Robert Kennedy, a gripping documentary by
the acclaimed producer Chris Plumley, exposes how the CIA planted two operatives
within the Los Angeles Police Department who manipulated the investigation of
Kennedy’s assassination. Robert Kennedy’s death seemed an open and shut
case, yet in spite of the testimonies of seventy-seven witnesses, it remains
shrouded in mystery. Many witnesses at the time complained of pressure by the
LAPD to change their testimony. For the first time, Plumley exposes how evidence
was changed: how an FBI officer saw bullets being removed from the scene of the
assassination and how LAPD officers who didn’t tow the line found themselves
suspended on ridiculous charges or taken off the case. This hard-hitting
documentary is produced in the gripping style of The Day The Dream Died, the
documentary which catapulted Chris Plumley to international prominence and
formed the backbone of Oliver Stone’s acclaimed film JFK."

about surrendering himself. After all, that is what happened in Cerro Maravilla,
where the local police -acting allegedly in cohort with the FBI- executed two
unarmed independentistas, well after they had surrendered to the authorities.
The Attorney General for Puerto Rico has already corroborated Elma's story. The
FBI fired more than a hundred rounds of bullets. Filiberto was able to respond
only ten times. There was no attempt to arrest him; they came to kill him with
premeditation… From 1990 to 2005, Filiberto was running loose in Puerto Rico,
outsmarting the FBI on an Island that is smaller than the State of Connecticut
and where everybody, through means of gossip, can easily find out what the other
islanders are doing, even in their bed. So, the FBI knew for sure that Filiberto
was being protected by the community at large. The FBI had a motive for their
assassination. Filiberto Ojeda will be buried the afternoon of September 27,
2005, as a hero in his hometown of Naguabo, Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rican Bar

account for the six assassination victim's wounds using no more bullets than
Sirhan's gun could hold. Moldea's television explanation, the same offered in
his book, has several fatal shortcomings. One particularly critical conclusion
by Moldea ensures that, under his scenario, no less than 9 shots were necessary
to account for the victims' wounds. Problematically for Moldea, Sirhan fired an
8-shot revolver, which he unquestionably did not reload."

Open Archive. Part of the second day of a symposium on the Warren Commission
Report on the Kennedy assassination."
The
mother of all coverups 9/16/2004 Salon: "But there
is one sanctuary where the Warren Report is still stubbornly upheld and where
its manifold critics can expect their own rough treatment: in the towers of the
media elite… One of the great ironies of history is that while the media elite
was busily trying to shore up public confidence in the Warren Report, the
political elites were privately confiding among themselves that the report was a
travesty, a fairy tale for mass consumption. Presidents, White House aides,
intelligence officials, senators, congressmen, even foreign leaders -- they all
muttered darkly among themselves that Kennedy was killed by a conspiracy, a plot
that a number of them suspected had roots in the U.S. government itself. (In
truth, some high media dignitaries have also quietly shared their doubts about
the official version. In 1993, CBS anchorman Dan Rather, who did much along with
his network to enforce the party line on Dallas, confessed to Robert Tannenbaum,
the former deputy chief counsel of the House Select Committee on Assassinations,
"We really blew it on the Kennedy assassination.") "
Digital

are to produce a digital copy of the only known audio recording of the
assassination to allow researchers to analyse the sound of the gun-shots
captured on the recording. The original, preserved on an analogue tape, has not
been played since the early 80s because it is so fragile. The recording was made
through the microphone of a motorcycle policeman's radio and captured on a
portable tape recorder back at headquarters."
VANUNU

Kennedy was assassinated because of his strong opposition to [Israeli prime
minister] Ben Gurion," Vanunu said. At the time, Ben Gurion was working to
create a nuclear arsenal for Israel. The group that was involved with Ben Gurion
in developing and protecting Israel's nuclear arsenal "was behind the
assassination of Kennedy," Vanunu said."

Who
killed Kennedy? 1/17/2004 Portsmouth Herald, NH: "Keating:
We recently marked the 40th anniversary of the assassination of JFK. Polls show
that a majority of Americans do not believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone
gunman. My question to you, as someone who is running for the office that he
held at the time of his assassination, is what do you believe? Dean: I believe
what I read and what I’ve read is the Warren Commission, or some of it. And
their conclusion is that he was the lone assassin. I’m not a big conspiracy
theorist. Now I don’t deny that conspiracies exist, but this was never one
that I’ve been highly attracted by. So I go with what I consider to be the
mainstream opinion on this one, which is that it’s likely it was a single
assassin."

issue in the suit, filed Tuesday in Washington, are records on the unexplained
role of a Miami-based undercover CIA agent named George Joannides in the months
prior to Kennedy's murder on Nov. 22, 1963. The authors supporting the suit
include anti-conspiracist Gerald Posner, author of the 1993 book "Case
Closed," and Norman Mailer and Don DeLillo, two leading novelists who have
explored the mysteries surrounding accused JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. Also
backing the lawsuit are legal experts G. Robert Blakey, the former chief counsel
of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, which in the late 1970s
investigated Kennedy's death, and John Tunheim, a federal judge who chaired the
Assassination Records Review Board in the mid-1990s."

Killing

Revealed:
how Kennedy's assassination thwarted hopes of Cuba reconciliation 11/26/2003 Guardian,
UK: "A few days before his assassination, President Kennedy was
planning a meeting with Cuban officials to negotiate the normalisation of
relations with Fidel Castro, according to a newly declassified tape and White
House documents. The rapprochement was cut off in Dallas 40 years ago this week
by Lee Harvey Oswald, who appears to have believed he was assassinating the
president in the interests of the Cuban revolution. But the new evidence
suggests that Castro saw Kennedy's killing as a setback. He tried to restart a
dialogue with the next administration, but Lyndon Johnson was at first too
concerned about appearing soft on communism and later too distracted by Vietnam
to respond."

posted an audio tape of the President and his national security advisor,

Castro. The tape, dated only seventeen days before Kennedy was shot in Dallas,
records a briefing from Bundy on Castro's invitation to a U.S. official at the

official U.S. involvement could be plausibly denied."
Were the Feds
Capable of Killing Kennedy? 11/24/2003 The Future of Freedom
Foundation: "Unfortunately, we may never know all the answers to the
Kennedy assassination because of two undeniable conspiracies entered into by
U.S. officials immediately after it occurred: the conspiracy not to aggressively
investigate whether there were other people who shot at President Kennedy and
the conspiracy to keep the government’s investigative files into the
assassination secret from the American people until the year 2029, when missing
and destroyed evidence would be nothing more than a historical curiosity. If
those two conspiracies had never been entered into, the central questions of who
killed Kennedy and who covered the murder up would probably have been settled
long ago."

Searching
for the truth 11/22/2003 Amarillo Globe News: "One
of the things Sturdivan focused on was debunking the extra gunman theory, which
was popularized in part by the Zapruder film that showed JFK's head jerking
back, as if he had been shot from in front and behind. "We were able to
explain for the first time the reason for Kennedy's backward motion in the
car," Sturdivan said. "A colleague and I resurrected some archival
films that showed that the shot to the head caused an intense neuromuscular
reaction, and that is the reason Kennedy jerked backward after the shot."
Sturdivan's findings are extremely complex, but the layman's explanation is that
the bullet pierced the top of the spinal column, stretched the nerves and caused
them to send out messages essentially forcing every muscle in the body to seize
up. Because a human's back muscles are stronger than his abdominal muscles,
Kennedy's body instinctively arched his back, slamming it backward." - a
pity that this boy's life work is based on the fraudulent Zapruder film, where
the backward motion is one of a number of artifacts of that fraud, including two
spices along the sequence of the film and a continuous splice separating the
entire intersprocket area from the rest of the film.

department. "But the story was so overpowering that I didn't grasp the
significance of television until later," he said. "From that weekend
on, television became the place where most people turned for news. Up until that
time people wanted to see it written down in black-and-white. That's what
validated things." " And led to the one of history greatest video
frauds, the Zapruder film.

screened on Sunday night - The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy - it is
possible to draw for the first time on extraordinary computerised
reconstructions of what happened that November day in Dallas in 1963. The basis
for the reconstructions is the home movie shot by a local Dallas dressmaker,
Abraham Zapruder. It shows the precise moment of the assassination, and it
allows all the subsequent conspiracy theories to be considered and - in my view
- utterly rejected. " This forensic animation will be successfully used by
those who have proven that the Zapruder is a fraud to better make their case.

struck Kennedy. The first entered his upper back above the shoulder blade and
exited from the front of his neck. The second struck the right side of the back
of his skull, near the midline, and fragmented, causing a blast-out of the right
side of the skull above the ear. The locations of the wounds were most
compatible with the gun having been fired from the sixth floor of the Texas
School Book Depository, most likely by a single gunman." This is at odds
with testimony from other doctors in Dallas and at the autopsy in Bethesda,
which was misrepresented by HSCA, the House Select Committee on Assassinations.
This article is part of an all out effort to convince the American public and
the world that Oswald was the lone assassin, despite polls that show more than
70% of Americans do not believe it.

louder because I can't hear what you're saying.” It was like a big mystery, as
if we both were conspiring. One time, in the late 1970s, he asks me to go see
him. Probably it was a way to say thanks, because it was difficult for us to
save his life and the process of rehabilitation was very long. We had a long
conversation. We started talking about the exiles, about the principal
characters, Orlando Bosch, Antonio Veciana, Luis Posada Carriles, Jorge Mas
Canosa. But all of a sudden, I don't know how, we started talking about
Kennedy's assassination and the man paled and said more or less this: Herminio Díaz
and Eladio del Valle were in Dallas on that day, Nov. 22. I ask him why he's
telling me this. And he answers that he doesn't know anything else, but that he
does want us to know that Herminio Díaz and Eladio del Valle were there."

FBI Agent Reveals Details Of JFK's Assassination - Former Agent Says Oswald Made
Offer To Cuban Officials 10/21/2003 KMBC, Kansas City
Former
chief of the day discusses Kennedy assassination 10/21/2003 Olney
Daily Mail, IL: "While typing the memo, the agent placed a small
bottle next to David. Inside the bottle were around four pieces of lead that
David said were too much for one bullet, the "magic bullet" labeled
"Commission Exam 399." ...The autopsy room was filled with
high-ranking government officials, David said. Some of those officials told
doctors not to examine certain areas of Kennedy's body, according to David.
Bozwell and Humes, who were not experienced pathologists, conducted the
autopsy… Several days after the autopsy, David said his friend and mentor,
William Bruce Pitzer, who was the head of the audio/visual department at
Bethesda, wanted to show him a 16-millimeter film of the autopsy as well as some
black and white photographs of the procedure. David said he did not look at the
entire film and what he saw was footage prior to the official autopsy, but there
was clearly something amiss. Kennedy's throat was sloppily slit 2 inches in
length and near the corner of his eye was an entrance wound, a hole no larger
than a finger, David said. It appeared that the body had been tampered with to
cover up evidence that Kennedy may have been shot from the front. It was
December 1965 and Pitzer had told David that he would soon be retiring from
Bethesda. David said Pitzer told him he had lucrative offers for work elsewhere.
In April 1966, Pitzer was found dead and had supposedly committed suicide.
"I never really believed Bill committed suicide," David said. "I
still don't today." The film Pitzer possessed is missing, David said. David
said that in the Warren Commission report, there is a section that states the
commission viewed "a film of the autopsy." In the early 1990s, David
said Pitzer's death began being investigated by an author. It was discovered
that Pitzer's wife, Joyce Pitzer, never received a copy of her husband's death
certificate or of his autopsy. In 1992, David said he learned that a retired
lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Army Special Forces named Dan Marvin along with
another man were asked by an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency to
assassinate Pitzer."

John
F. Kennedy: A dual-purpose assassination - An interview with retired Division
Gen. Fabián Escalante Font 11/20/03 Radio Progresso,
Miami: "They told Robert Kennedy that his brother had been the victim
of a plot by Cuban intelligence and then identified the signers of the
“Cuban” letters as the people responsible for the plot and the Cuban Embassy
in Mexico as the center where the plot was planned. The entire operation was
directed by one person, who in my judgment was David Phillips."

"George Starr had familiarized me with the problems of Communist Party
work and, in fact, he has been given credit for teaching the FBI agents how to
conduct these investigations. After I was promoted to SAC, it was my duty to
supervise the work of Special Agents assigned to such activity. It was also my
duty to develop and supervise those people commonly called informers. To be more
specific, we might say that they were counterspies sent in to report on the
activities of the Party members."
